My Story

I spent four years working the line at a busy restaurant in Portland before my daughter was born. When I transitioned to cooking at home full-time, I quickly realized that most online recipes were written by people who had never actually tested them. Temperatures were wrong. Times were off. And nobody mentioned the mistakes they made along the way.

When I got my first air fryer in 2022, I fell into the same trap. I followed recipe after recipe that promised "crispy perfection" and got soggy chicken, burnt fries, and exploded mozzarella sticks. So I started keeping a notebook. Every recipe, every temperature, every timing adjustment — I wrote it all down.

That notebook became this blog. Every recipe you see here has been tested at least three times in my home kitchen. I share what works, what doesn't, and the exact moment I figured out the trick that makes the difference. No stock photos. No guesswork. Just real food, real notes, and real results.
